The Ultimate Kids Fishing Experience

What is it?

The Ultimate Kids Fishing Experience is a week long program where kids do some serious fishing, and gain new understanding of the marine world around them. Morning and afternoon sessions run throughout the summer and include fishing, lobstering, navigation and seamanship, marine biology and anatomy (also known as blood and guts) and much more. With just 4 kids per boat, there is ample attention, and plenty of opportunity to catch a lifetime memory. Most sessions run from Marblehead, however, please inquire about the possibilities of Beverly and/or Manchester pick-ups..

Who Is The Experience For ?

The program is designed for boys and girls age 8 through 16. No previous experience is required - just an interest in learning. Participants should be able to swim on their own, as well as having the physical capabilities for activities such as getting into and out of a small boat, scrambling around on shoreline rocks, etc.

Approaching our 15th year, we can honestly say that this expereince is consistently the best summer activity the kids have ever done.

About The Instructor

Randy Sigler has been fishing the local waters recreationally and commercially for over 30 years. He teaches 8th grade science in Marblehead, and for the last 15 years he has operated Sigler Guide Service, a saltwater flyfishing guide service in Marblehead. The combination of backgrounds in teaching, and fishing, as well as a degree in Natural Resource Studies, create a perfect foundation for leading this camp.

Sessions run weekly from June 15th through August 28th.

Morning (8:00 am - 11:00 am) and afternoon (12:00 - 3:00 pm) sessions are available.
