What is it?

The Ultimate Kids Fishing Camp is a week long camp where we do some serious fishing. Morning and afternoon sessions run throughout the summer and include fishing, lobstering, navigation and seamanship, marine biology and anatomy (also known as blood and guts) and much more. With just 4 or 5 kids per boat, there is ample attention, and plenty of opportunity to catch a lifetime memory.

Who Is The Camp For ?

The program is designed for boys and girls age 8 through 16. No previous experience is required - just an interest in learning. Participants should be able to swim on their own, as well as having the physical capabilities for activities such as getting into and out of a small boat, scrambling around on shoreline rocks, etc.

Approaching our 15th year, we can honestly say that this camp is consistently the best camp the kids have ever done.

About The Instructors

Randy Sigler has been fishing the local waters recreationally and commercially for over 30 years. He teaches 8th grade science in Marblehead, and for the last 15 years he has operated Sigler Guide Service, a saltwater flyfishing guide service in Marblehead. The combination of backgrounds in teaching, and fishing, as well as a degree in Natural Resource Studies, create a perfect foundation for leading this camp.

Pete Yukins has grown up on the waters of Salem Sound and Ipswich Bay. He has commercially lobstered and has been guiding for 5 years. He coaches lacrosse at Brookwood and has great way with kids.

Sessions run weekly from June 18th through August 31st.

Morning (8:00 am - 11:00 am) and afternoon (12:00 - 3:00 pm) sessions are available.
